1. Our commitment
We aim to design and maintain the Platform so that it is perceivable, operable, understandable and robust. Accessibility is treated as an ongoing part of product maintenance, content publishing and template design rather than a one-off exercise.
2. The standard we aim for
We work towards the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 Level AA. In practical terms, we aim to use clear headings, readable contrast, keyboard-accessible controls, labelled form fields, useful link text, responsive layouts and text alternatives for meaningful images.
3. Steps we take
When we update templates or add features, we consider keyboard navigation, focus order, colour contrast, mobile usability, form labels and plain-language content. We also review older pages as they are refreshed and improve issues we find.
4. Known limitations
Some older listings, imported public data, member-uploaded images, third-party embeds, maps, payment screens or linked documents may not fully meet the standard yet. Some profile content is supplied by third parties, so alternative text and formatting can vary.
